When will You Going to Understand that Holdem Poker is About Position!

I’ve been betting poker now for about 5 years, I have wagered cards my entire life starting with games of Gin Rummy for pennies with my Grand Mother, to all of the various forms of Brag and basic random games such as Go Fish, Crash and one so eloquently called, card on head game. I used to always win, whatever casino game we were betting and even though I liked to call it skill, it was quite difficult to justify considering the randomness of the games we were betting, so I was over joyed to accept I was having an extended run of good fortune.
Then came Poker, or much more importantly Hold’em Poker, made famous by a group of Texas card gamblers in the 1960’s and since developed into one of the largest card phenomena ever experienced. Poker is totally the new black, it is ultra awesome with many of the world’s leading celebrities racing to have their name connected with it. Just a quick scan via the TV channels these days and you’ll be able to not escape from poker, and obviously there’s the fabled WSOP, the Holy Grail and Mecca all rolled into one for each and every individual player.
So with all of this fresh discovered popularity, with so quite a few Television shows devoted to poker, and magazine and book shelves filled up with high quality material written by the top minds on poker, when are people going to understand that this casino game is all about position!?
Perhaps I ought to not get so worked up about this, after all the more persons who wrestle with the subtle techniques and approaches required for winning regularly at Holdem, the far better it truly is for everyone else, appropriate? I mean, if they can not be troubled to read all of the offered data about why position is so critical, why must we bother? We must just be glad there is an additional fish at the table!
It’s true, we ought to not encourage laziness with advice and support. On the other hand, I liken this to a welcoming casino game of football. Naturally the stakes are not so great, except when you see a gambler having difficulties, you assist them, provide them some advice, ultimately showing them a method to love, love and be grateful for the game as much as you. I’m asking all home gamblers to do the same thing with their poker friends who haven’t quite grasped the subtleties of betting position. Support them to grow their respect for the game. Of course, do not attempt to try this one in your local gambling den, the sharks won’t appreciate you instructing their supper how to swim!
