Poker Aces – the right way to play them

Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It is the best possible before theflop hand inhold’em Poker. But regardless a good many competitors end up on the losing end when given these cards.

When you’re dealt a pair of Aces, you just do not drop out pre-flop. You are sitting with the greatest achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you gamble with Poker Aces ? Do you simply go all-in? I would say no to that.

Remember, you’re looking to produce as much profit out of this strong position. You will want to maximise the possibility. Going all-in will merely scare most players into folding without putting a wager.

If you are in the early position (first or 2nd to actually bet), you’ll place a single bet. Anybody with decent cards will call, with hope somebody might raise. If someone has made a raise don’t jump to re-raise or call, pause for a short while – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.

After the flop your plan will be to eliminate anyone that might get a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise boldly, if you are fortunate you’ll fool one player into thinking that you are bluffing.

If you’re in the middle or later spot (near the last to place a wager) you will watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even with you holding a pair of aces, if you can try to avoid a show-down. Protect your hand by making the other players fold following the flop. If you don’t force out your opponents you chance squandering your hand.
