Pai Gow Poker is a cutting-edge game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the wild west in a great game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player vs. the croupier, unlike the majority of other poker games that players play with other players. By competing against the dealer, starting players don’t need to be concerned about other, more experienced gamblers taking their mulla.

Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, rookies can take their time and scheme while not needing to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to participate in for a long time with basically a small bit of cash since, to lose, each of your hands needs to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is dealt 7 cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards faces hidden.

A five card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand has to be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player needs both of his hand values to be better than the dealer’s.
