Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Built on the old Chinese domino game and the current American adaptation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in a fantastic game for beginning level gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler vs. the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers bet with other gamblers. By competing against the dealer, new players do not need to fret about other, more knowledgeable individuals taking their money.

An additional Pai Gow edge is the generally slow game play, rookies should be able to take their time and strategize without having to make hasty decisions.

It’s also simpler to gamble on for a long time with just a small bit of cash after all, to not win, each of your hands needs to be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is dealt seven cards faces showing and the house gets 7 cards face down.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be higher than the houses.
