Amateurs Tactics for Pai Gow Poker

Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient origins. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the eastern with the wild west in a wonderful game for early level players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the player against the croupier, unlike most other poker games that gamblers bet against other gamblers. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to worry about any other, more knowledgeable gamblers winning their moolla.
A further Pai Gow edge is the generally leisurely game play, novices should be able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also much simpler to play for an extended time with just a little bit of cash since, to not win, each of your hands has to be lower than both of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the casino gets seven cards faces hidden.
One 5 card hand and one 2 card hand must be put together from the 7 cards, the 5 card hand must be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
