Double-hand Poker is a current game with old origins. Founded on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker joins the east with the wild west in an excellent game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player vs. the croupier, not like most other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By gambling against the dealer, new players do not need to worry about other, more skillful individuals taking their moolla.

A further Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, newcomers are able to take their time and plan without needing to make hasty decisions.

It is also simpler to enjoy for an extended time with basically a small amount of cash after all, to lose, each of your hands must be lower than both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and a single joker. The player is assigned 7 cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards face down.

A five card hand and one two card hand need to be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand has to be higher than the two card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be larger than the casino’s.
