Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Built on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the eastern with the western in a wonderful game for early level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler against the house, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers wager against other gamblers. By gambling against the dealer, beginner players do not have to fret about other, more experienced players winning their moolla.

One more Pai Gow advantage is the fairly leisurely game play, beginners should be able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty decisions.

It is also simpler to wager on for a long time with basically a tiny amount of cash since, to not win, both of your hands must be under each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the familiar 52-card common deck and a single joker. The gambler is dealt seven cards face up and the croupier is given seven cards face down.

A 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player needs both of his hand totals to be better than the dealer’s.
