Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Based on the old Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker combines the far east with the wild west in a fantastic game for starting players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler versus the casino, unlike most other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By betting against the dealer, beginner players do not have to worry about other, more experienced individuals winning their $$$$.

One more Pai Gow benefit is the generally slow game play, rookies can take their time and plan while not needing to make hasty decisions.

It is also simpler to bet on for an extended time with just a small bit of cash since, to lose, both of your hands has to be lower than each of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the normal 52-card basic deck and a single joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the house receives 7 cards face down.

A five card hand and one 2 card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards, the five card hand has to be stronger than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be larger than the dealer’s.
