Internet poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many types on the original poker game have been developed, including a handful of games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the players wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier broadcasting "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire five cards each. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you must in turn make a call wager or accede. The call wager’s amount is on same level to your original wager, indicating that the risks will have doubled. Surrendering means that your bet goes instantly to the bank. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, including a sum equal to the original wager. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the casino’s hand. The dealer pays chips equal to your original bet and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:
- Equal for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for two pairs
- 3-1 for 3 of a kind
- 4-1 for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
