Have you noticed the new PokerPro hold’em poker tables? The very first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about 2 weeks back when I took a short getaway with my wife to the WinStar Gambling house in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my turn to be summoned at the live tables, I observed how the other folks at the PokerPro tables interface with each other. It was quite interesting to say the very least. Because the poker table was computer controlled, there were no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live experience was stagnant. Perhaps I was the only one that spotted this, except I did notice the gamblers on the table had a lifeless quality to them. The reason for this might be because there was no human conversation with the dealer, the atmosphere was rather boring and the gamblers looked bored. It was almost as if I was looking at a live version of a web-based texas holdem poker room rather than being seated with hot blooded humans. It was a tiny bit spooky and I kept flashing back to a show of ST:TNG and the holodeck malfunctioned.

Since the waiting time for the reside tables for more than an hour, I made a decision to observe how the game action was and to understanding this new hold’em poker gaming technology. After betting a couple of hands, I genuinely felt like I was playing at residence. The lack of activity on the table was the main reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those items are possible at these digital tables.

One more thing I observed was how the computer dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I bet a great deal of hands on the PokerPro table and discovered that the bet on was a great deal like a web based texas holdem poker website. That might have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become very odd.

After playing a couple of rounds with this "new hold’em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m far better off playing texas hold em poker on the internet at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling den have been to acquire rid of the live poker tables, I think they would shed a good deal of players.
